Installation of digital display:

The digital display meter should be installed in a location where the processing personnel can easily see the measurement data and do not occupy the function of the machine tool to avoid contact with oil, water, and heat sources.

Installation of grating ruler:

The effective use of the selected grating ruler must be larger than the maximum stroke of the installed mechanical equipment. According to the coordinates, the machine tool can be divided into three types: vertical, horizontal, and up and down. In the grating ruler industry, it becomes X coordinate, Y coordinate, and Z coordinate. The direction and coordinates are determined as needed. The vertical and horizontal coordinates of the grating ruler are generally that the ruler body is fixed on the moving worktable, and the reading head is fixed, and the upper and lower coordinates are generally that the ruler body is fixed and the reading head is fixed on the moving worktable. However, in principle, you should pay attention no matter which coordinate is installed. The position of the grating ruler installed on the machine tool should not hinder the operation of the machine tool, or reduce the original use function of the machine tool. The grating ruler after installation should not be impacted. Obstruct the influence of processing handles, brakes and other parts.

When the machine tool table is moved to the dead center position of any two ends, the reading head needs to have a buffer distance of about two centimeters from the end of the ruler body to avoid collision between the reading head and the end of the ruler body, and the limit switch should limit the position. The switch position is limited to the effective stroke of the grating ruler.

The ruler body and the reading head of the grating ruler need to be parallel and perpendicular to the machine tool rail. The parallel plane accuracy is within 20 threads, the vertical accuracy is within 5 threads, and the gap between the reading head and the ruler body is between 0.8 mm and 1.5 mm. The better the reading head is installed, the more accurate the measured data.

When fixing the signal line, all relevant moving distances must be considered, the extra line must be tied and fixed, and the grounding line of the digital display meter must be fixed. After the grating scale digital display meter is installed, the accuracy of the measurement data should be tested. You can use the standard workpiece to measure to make sure that the data displayed by the digital display meter is accurate and start processing.
