Principle of digital display meter:

The digital display meter first needs to convert the continuously changing analog quantity into the intermittently changing digital quantity, add a counter, register, and encoder, and finally display the result on the LED digital tube. In fact, most digital display meters are mainly based on voltmeters. A large number of physical quantities are transformed into corresponding electrical signals after sensing and transmission. The composition of the digital display table:

The digital display meter should have three parts: A/D conversion, nonlinear compensation and scale conversion.

Non-linear compensation: There is a nonlinear relationship between most of the measured parameters and the displayed value. In order to eliminate the nonlinear error, a nonlinear compensation circuit must be added to the instrument. Commonly used methods are: analog nonlinear compensation, non-linear compensation Linear digital-to-analog conversion compensation method, digital nonlinear compensation method, etc.

Scaling conversion: There is often a certain proportional relationship between the measured value and the engineering value. The digital display should not display the input value but the actual engineering value, so the scale conversion is required. Generally, the digital display The display range can be set.

The principle and composition of the digital display meter are relatively simple, but it is not easy to do it well. Many factors will affect the quality of the meter, such as design ideas, processing details, and component selection.
